Woodside School redevelopment

Information GOCA aware of @ 10.10.2025 The school building has been in a poor state for many years. The plan is to submit the application for planning consent following the consultation period, with the aim that permission is granted by the end of the 2025. If permission is granted then the temporary school buildings will be installed in Spring 2026, with the main development commencing shortly afterwards. The time-frame for the completion of the new build is understood to be 12 months.

The new school will continue to be a one-form entry school and the plans show that the new buildings will be single-storey and covering roughly the same area as the current school buildings.
