Warning to keep the fire in the BBQ!

We have recently been made aware of a garden fire just off Newgatestreet Road. A BBQ caused trees to catch fire which was dealt with by the Fire Brigade. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to the adjacent field which, of course, is tinder dry at the moment.

Please take extra precautions and keep you and your neighbours safe during this hot spell.
