Goffs Oak Community Association (GOCA) is alive and kicking.

We are working hard to look after Our Goffs Oak, in particular the trees and green spaces that are key to our environment and community. Read on ...

Between our last collection of membership subscriptions in 2019,

Covid-19 restrictions and our website connection being lost, members may have felt GOCA was no longer operating Furthermore, during this time we sadly lost our Chairwoman and our Treasurer retired. During these difficult times the three remaining committee members kept things ticking over.

When it was felt safe to do so an Annual General Meeting was held

(19th April 2023) in the Goffs Oak Village Hall. 180 residents attended

with representatives of the Council who, along with the three committee members

answered questions from the attending residents.

The accounts of the Association were distributed and a request made for people willing

to join the GOCA Committee, resulting in eight people joining the remaining three to

form an active Committee.

Without the people in our community there would be no Goffs Oak.
