Goffs Oak War Memorial

It is with great pride that we are able to inform you that the War Memorial has been granted Grade 11 listed status.

The Memorial remembers and celebrates the fallen of Goffs Oak from the two World Wars.

It is Important that their ultimate sacrifice is never forgotten. The Memorial continues to be at the focal point of the annual Remembrance Service.

We would like to thank those of you who followed the Community Association's lead in writing to Historic England to safeguard its place within our community.

This demonstrates that working together we can achieve great things for our community.
