Tree Preservation

The trees in our community play a vital role.

They are key to our environment and wellbeing, in the fight against climate change,whilst providing habitats for wildlife.

Together we need to protect them.


Last August, the Community Association working alongside residents and local councillors secured a permanent protection order on a large Oak tree.


Unfortunately, another tree was unnecessarily cut down before we could act. However, through the endeavours of the Community Association two trees have been planted in the location.
