The former INEX site (photo taken from tennis courts) is an eyesore in our village and the Council are considering next steps to progress the development.
A new Local Plan is being developed in Cuffley & Northaw with proposals for 600+ new homes on our doorstep!
Land at the rear of 612 Goffs Lane: 07/23/0312/OOutline application to enable the development of the site to provide six new zero carbon homes, a footway/cycle path and associated open space and landscaping. Currently being assessed.
Laurel Park As reported previously, this application was refused by the Council’s planning committee in Nov 2025 and is now the subject of an APPEAL. The application for a SEN school and up to 90 houses Ref 07/25/0222/F can be reviewed on the Council’s Planning Portal. Site is corner of Hammondstreet Road & Newgatestreet Road.
Gospel Hall, Newgatestreet Road: 07/24/0623/F Retention of B8 open storage use for parking of luxury mobile homes and proposed office use of the former Gospel Hall for temporary period of three years. This application was refused by the Planning Committee but being appealed.
Doverfield land to the rear of No 27 Application for 5 homes was refused on 3rd March.

Woodside Primary School The redevelopment of this local school has been approved and work to bring temporary buildings & demolish the old will start shortly. Doubtless there will be some disruptions during this activity
